Review #1 for Escalera's Su Casa Restaurant
Highly Recommended Restaurant with Excellent Customer Service! I have been going to Su Casa for years and it is by far one of the top three sit-down Mexican restaurants in the Imperial Valley. They ocassionally have musicians come play and sing songs for the customers enjoyment. The food is of high-grade quality and very scrumptious. If you are ever in the neighborhood or are looking for a great place to eat, try Su Casa.

Review #2 for Escalera's Su Casa Restaurant
Decent I ordered the carnitas burrito. For an additional 2.25 you can make it 'wet' which means they add melted cheese on top and add either a red or green sauce. That's a lot of money for some cheese and a little sauce. Still, the burrito was pretty damn big and the carnitas were quite tasteful. It was a decent burrito, but once you add the total cost of some were near $6 you have to rethink your order.
The menu is extremely confusing. Too many bright colors and if you don't have A.D.D. when you walked in the joint then you will once you get the menu.
The service was timely, but I felt like we were not welcomed. Someone in my party wanted to get the attention of the server and it took several tries for her to swing by. They never brought the bill so someone had to go up to the register. Actually the service did suck.
The guacamole sucks. I ordered a large ($6) side of guacamole and it was pretty small. Plus, it had no taste. No salt or other ingredients. Pretty bland.
The complentary chips were good and the salsa had a good taste too it.
Still, I doubt that I will go there any time soon.

Review #3 for Escalera's Su Casa Restaurant
Everything's better when wet I ate here for the first time the other day. I tried a "wet" pollo asado burrito. It's a pollo asado burrito drenched with a red enchilada sauce, and served with thick guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, and olives. The burrito is pretty big, and tastes very good. The service, on the other hand, sucked. The waitress seemed upset to be working there, and practically threw everything at us, and the food took forever to get to us (there was one large group, and about two smaller groups of customers when we were there, but the time it took was too ridiculously long). So, if you have time, and don't mind rude waitresses, as long as the food is good, then go to Escalera's Su Casa.
