Margarita Cabrera opened Disfrutalow restaurant just over three years ago with the goal of providing the residents of the city of Calexico, and its surrounding areas, a healthy, nutritious, and affordable alternative to what so many residents already felt was a vast array of fast food joints that had filled the area for years.
Being fed up with having to drive to Mexicali whenever she felt like eating a healthy meal at a restaurant, she decided to open up her own restaurant in order to provide a health outlet to a community, which she felt was long overdue.
The restaurant has been at its current location for approximately one and a half years.

Mejor Que Nunca
Disfrutalow es lo mejor de los dos Valles, cada vez que voy a Mexicali tengo que llegar a Disfrutalow por que ya se que no voy a encontrar nada en Mexicali como Disfrutalow con sus ricas ensaladas, smoothies y sandwiches y mas que nada esa atension al cliente que en ningun otro lugar la hay por eso amigos los invito a que visiten Disfrutalow en su nuevo local NO SE VAN ARREPENTIR!

Best Restaurant in Town
Disfrutalow is the best in the Valley, specialy now in their new location, right next to FLX Fitness Gym across from Walmart. Now I don'T have to worry about parking space, I recommend Disfrutalow as the best restaurant in Calexico!

C'mon, this place is always empty...I wouldn't consider this place more than a lemonade stand.
Shit...I pass by this site dozens of times during the the week and have yet to see a customer. If you want a smoothie with over ripe fruit and stale milk, I'd imagine this is the place to go. A little inside information, this stand is a fly-by-night stand and has conducted business at the Burgers and Beer strip mall, the Garcia shopping center, and now at the Paulin site--and with no success. I think Cuchi's is probably the place to go, or to the dozens of places in Mexicali that have been in operation for decades.
Recommends: Can of coke or 7-up...why risk it.

Restaurant staff.
This restaurant has one of the most beautiful woman working there that i have ever known. Her name is Sandra and she has been working at disfrutalow ever since its opening in March 2002. I frequent this restaurant and i have ordered the same type of sandwich everytime i eat there. The restaurant is clean, well kept, has a great selection of sandwiches, salads, and nutritional fruit drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant to any person looking to eat at a diffrent place. You will not regret it!

I"m a super fan of disfrutalow . I lost like 20 pounds drinking a wierd juice that they have.
Its all natural and i just l9ove it.
of course that i put some effort because i exercise. but that juice is like magic. the girls are very nice. they have an excelent customer service.

Health Food
I was pretty skeptical of this place for a while. But eventually, I tried it.
It's probably one of the best places to get food from in the Valley. I don't recommend eating there. It doesn't feel very cozy, but pickup is worth it.
The only complaint I have about this place is that they have pretty wierd hours. You can call in the middle of the day and they'll be closed. Even if they are open, they won't pick up the phone.
Their food is awesome though. It fills you up with that, "I could really run a mile right now," feeling.
Great customer service. One time I ordered some food and I guess their credit card machine was down, so instead of asking me to go to my bank and get cash, they just asked me to take the food and to pay them the next time I went in. On another occasion, a friend of mine's drink was a little watered down, not their fault either, the fruits just weren't very sweet, so they made it again, from scratch, and upgraded the size of the drink for free.

EXELENT this restaurant is unique in the valley something fresh and natural where all the chics in calecia meet i like going to disfrutalow cause their shakes, smoothies,salads an d sandwishes are # 1 in the valley and Mexicali not even bamoas in mexicali tastes like DISFRUTALOW also to the owners or whoever, please correct the address it took me a month to find the place but it was worth it I never gave up and found it.
