AH, OK!
This place was ok...the last time I went there was in 2003...I thought the prices were over the damn roof...semi small portions...but carnes asada was ok....
I didn't like the fact that you had to pay for refills...the waitress was ok....
Back to the price issue....F****** expensive!

all this people in this valley is the same kind of people, they want everything for free!!! only cholos lives here I really hate this county!! and they even try to look as americans hahaha I really cant believe it!! just read a review and u will noticed all this people are the worst in usa

Filthy Mexican... Restaurant
After years and years of avoiding Guadalajara's in Calexico, I finally decided to give it a try since I was looking to find a new place to try Mexican food at.
As I passed by the mariachi player who was outside on break smoking a cigarette, I became intrigued by everything I was seeing inside. I really did feel like I was in Mexico. At a Mexican restaurant where health codes were not followed. Oddly enough, the muggy feeling inside made me feel like I was home.
I glanced at the menu for a while and realized how expensive the mariscos were and could only imagine that their freshness would equal that of the ambience. I looked around at all the patrons and noticed they were enjoying their dinner, some slurping up oysters while others asked for menu item translations. I ordered the sopes.
The drink was way sweet, while the sopes too bland, but the beans were just right. It would have been nice if the waiter would have come back to check if I wanted some more soda, which I thought would be an agua de pi

EXPENSIVE!!
REALLY ALL THE TIMES IVE GONE THERE THE SERVICE IS OK. WHAT I DONT LIKE ABOUT IT IS THAT THE MAKE YOU WAIT ALOT TO GET YOUR PLATE AND BY THE TIME YOU ALREADY HAVE IT YOUR NOT HUNGRY ANYMORE. THE PRICES ARE WAY TO HIGH FOR THE FOOD. LAST TIME I WENT, I GOT VERY LITTLE RICE AND THEY DELATED TOO MUCH! WELL THE LOCATION IS VERY GOOD AND I HOPE NEXT TIME I GO ITS BETTER! ALL IN ALL I DO RECOMMEND IT. ONE LAST THING, THEY SHOULD HAVE MORE PARKING SPACES.

Don't let the name fool you
I was there yesterday, as soon as you walk in you don't know if you should wait to be seated or take a seat, that's if the waitress is in a good mood. If you are like me and think that flies are nothing but disgusting habbitats on this earth then you won't want to step foot in this place. I don't know if they were just having a bad day or they just don't care but the place but this restaurant is infested with flies. You can see them having a picnic on the windows, tables, salsa bottles, your food as the waitress brings it to you and ontop of your drinks. I ask myself "what's wrong with this place? Are they immune to the flies and at the view of the customers swatting at them as they try to eat?" Someone needs to call the FDA and send someone out to check out the kitchen I wander what's swarming in there?
Recommends: Cheese quesadillas is all I could eat after what I saw

Overpriced Mexican Food, Bad Service
My parents used to bring me to this place when I was younger, and I never understood why.
The food isn't very good and it's overpriced.
The last time I went here was about 2 years ago (6 years before that) and I never want to go back. Everytime I go there I always end up getting sick.
I don't recommend this place to anyone.
