Sure, maybe slightly better than the old big, fat torta controller that came with the first X-Box shipments (the new slimmer one is better), but neither can hold a candle to the PS/PS2 controller. It's simply perfect.

While The Legend of Zelda series is awesome, one title alone does not make a system great. I'll buy the GameCube when it drops to $50 so I can play TLOZ and then shelve it after I'm done. |

It's all about the PS2 controller, the best thing ever invented since scrambled porn.
I'm still confused why anyone would buy a Gamecube over a PS2. I can understand if your like 6 years old.
As for best console ever, it had to be Atari. 1-bit, but pure brilliance.
And the joystick.
What ever happen to Joysticks with one button. I hate games were one has to press 30 different combo's just to do this insano trick. It always seemed that china man had an advantage over the cholito.

| The game Splinter Cell on the X-Box is a dope ass game. If any one has checked it out you'll know what i'm talking about. It truly is a stealth game, you move a little to quick and your heard. Its awsome. very realistic. |

one game out of a million. i never said the ps2 sucks. it's a good system. the gamecube has some shit too. it's just i wish the ps2 or any system st that, would get good quality games on a more consistent basis. i love gta, i love final fantasy, but do we really need britney spears dancing? give gamcube credit. it has resident evil, zelda, metroid, and it is getting better. the robotech that came out is awesome as well. |

i own the gamecube, and no the gc contoller is not better than ps controller. |

It depends on what you're into.
If you dig RTS, Age of Mythology or WarCraft III.
FPS with a plot, I'd say No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy In H.A.R.M.'s Way or Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (get the Spearhead expansion as well, since it's a short game.) I'd also go as far as recommending Sordier of Fortune II: Iron Helix.
FPS without a plot, Unreal Tournament 2003. America's Army is a good choice, too, since it's free.
RPG, either Arx Fatalis, Morrowind or Neverwinter Nights (in that order.) Stay away from Dungeon Siege unless you liked Diablo II (I didn't, but I bought Dungeon Siege for the engine/mods.) |

Well in my humble opinion i have all three major game consoles ps2
x-box and gamecube and in every sense of the word ps2 kicks ass on everything. the only advantage the x-box allows you to save into the console but the controllers are like some huge ass tortas that you can barely hold on too. |

do you have the original controller or the controller s? the latter is easier to hold onto, and the button lay-out isn't as fucked up. if you have the original one, try buying the controller s. you may be happier with that. |
