Happy Cesar Chavez's birthday, by the way.

How many of you "real" Mexicans actually remembered and celebrated it? I had to go to work today, so there was no celebrating on my end.

"Uvas No."

So far 7 states have made March 31st Cesar Chavez Day.

National holiday anyone?

I need a day off in March.

Cesar Chaves was a man of honor. Too bad that his family prostituted his name to many organzitions and political organizations just to get money.

One example, the Chaves family sold his name to corn flakes.

Among other things.

You mean to Kellogg Co., which makes Kellogg's Corn Flakes.

But the Kellogg CEO is now the secretary of commerce under the Bush administration. He's also a Latino, more specifically Cuban. I'd figure you'd be OK with that.

BTW, what a sellout!
