Are U tired of not having any family involved recreational activities. What services do we have in the valley that provide the people of Imperial Valley with something that will not only join the family together, but also offer that service that will keep your son or daughter out of trouble and interested in participating in community involvement. I just moved from San Diego as I could not afford housing out there. So I moved to Calexico with intentions to not only provide a good community environment for my family, but setting a personal goal for myself to bring some of the services that have succeded in San Diego to the Valley. If you are interested in opening a franchise or a private business, partnering with me e-mail me at cjacintoreyes@yahoo.com. Be aware that the population in the valley will increase in no time soon and services are required for the population that are coming to the valley. Please, only serious future partners respond!!!

Hey, that's great that you're down here and have plans create a venue that will cater to your family's entertainment needs. I'm sure there's lots of other families here wishing there was more they could do together, so they'll be thankful if you end up providing some of these services.

What ideas do you have in mind?

I still don't understand why there isn't a water park in the valley

Cause it's too damn hot for a water park? Insurance costs, I'm sure, was the major set back.

Wasn't there some mention about a water park being part or next to the upcoming Calexico casino. I remember Radiodude mentioning something about a 5-star hotel too, which sounds like a bunch of bull to me.

With the golf resort that is supposedly planned, they should make that a large miniature golf park instead that would allow families to go out to and enjoy themselves. The golf resort will just mainly end up catering to a certain group of citizens (i.e. - the "rich").
