The other day I was going out and forgot my lip balm that I always carry with me. In fact, I'm so dependent on the damn things that I have to constantly apply it to my face, otherwise I chap up (at least I think I am).
Instead of going back home to pick up my Chap Stick, I stop at Rite Aid to buy a new one. I'm looking in the aisle and I come across at least 20 different lip balms. I usually just buy them at convenience stores so I'm only exposed to about two or three. So I'm looking and I come across Chap Stick All Natural. All natural, huh? It's got to be better, right? It's all natural.
I pick it up and pay an extra 50 cents for this one. I guess it costs more to be all natural, but I'm expecting it to work much better. Longer story, shorter... by the end of the night my lips are tearing up like a motherfucker*.
What other products out there have you purchased because they were "revolutionary" or "environmentally safe," but turned out to completely flop?
