Does he really deserve to be in the Hall of Fame?
He just admitted on betting on baseball.
Look, I don't have a problem with him betting on baseball since he was a manager, but I did need a sincere apology.
Plus, I have a problem with him only admitting it because he knew there was no 'other' way of getting into the hall without saying what was obvious for 13+ years. On top of that he is making money by releasing a book about his bitch ass lying. Then in his money making book he says he doesn't see anything wrong with what he did. He's not sorry.
Now, I hope he doesn't make it. All he needed to do was hold a press conference and play the Kobe card. |

| The Hall of Fame is to conmemorate players for what they did as players, not for what they do out of the field. Yes he fucked up by betting, but that has nothing to do with how great he was in the field. I really doubt that Magic Johnson will not be allowed in the Hall of Fame for having AIDS, Julius Erving was never penalized for having slept with over 1,000 women, Allen Iverson I doubt will get shit for all the trouble he's caused. LET PETE IN THE HALL !!! |

Considering everything he did as a player? Is that really a question?

So?

Are you the comissioner of baseball or something? What do you need an apology for? How does him betting on baseball affect the fans?
And please don't bring up integrity of the game. If that's really an issue than none of these greedy ass fucks that refuse to play unless they get $100,000 a game should be let into the hall of fame either.

You gotta do what you gotta do? Sometimes you have to kiss ass to get what you want.

See, spic-ole, I had a feeling he placed bets on baseball. That's nothing knew for me. My take is that he is banned from ALL of baseball because he placed bets while a manager of the Reds. That's the cardinal rule of baseball.
At the time he wasn't in the Hall, and then he got banned from ALL of baseball. That's the issue. It's not about integrity, or what he did on the field. On top of that he had 14 years to come clean, instead he repeatedly lied. I'm no commisioner, but is that the issue at hand.
He only came out for two reasons to make the Hall and to make money. The thing is that he is not kissing any ass. He's doing it his way. Make the bitch pay. The 'baseball' people, all they wanted was for Pete to come out and admit it and say he was sorry. The thing is the guy still believes he did nothing wrong. Like I said it doesn't take too much skill to be an actor/actress just look at S.H. |

| No matter what you're opinion is on the subject, Pete Rose will eventually be voted into the Hall of Fame someday. He had 16 write-in votes last year, if I remember correctly, which shows that he is gaining support from those that vote on the matter. |

I saw SportsCenter this morning and they had 3 sports writers (whose votes count) and one of them said that he was going to vote Rose in without a doubt, while another one said the timing was bad but that he believes that Rose will eventually be in the Hall of Fame. I didn't get to hear what the other writer said but from the reactions of the guy that said he would vote for Rose, I take it that he was against Rose being in the HOF.*
*I wish I could find a link for it. |
