| I would like to see the Panthers beat the Patriots, but doubt that will happen. My prediction is that the Panthers will beat the spread (+7), but will lose in a close one. |

I'll take the opposite. |

Actually I'm not betting on the spread. My emotions are getting the best of me. I REALLY REALLY want the Panthers to win because I hate the Patriots. The Patriots are a better team and win close games. Also, as much as I hate to admit it, but their HC is solid. He punked P.Manning and he was red hot. So hope you win.
If anything I'll be betting on the propositions. I have my money that the Patriots score on their first possession. |

Ok, being probably the only Carolina fan on the board, I will make the prediction. Here's what's gonna take place.
By the end of the half, Carolina will be up 28-7. However, due to the pressure, Carolina's inexperienced quarterback will throw 2 or 3 interceptions in the third quarter and will have to be pulled. By the fourth quarter, the score will be 42-28, and the Patriots will be in the lead.
It will seem like a disappointing day for Carolina, as with only two minutes left, they are losing by two touchdowns, without their quarterback.
The Patriots will be at Carolina's 6 yard line as the clock approaches 1 minute, when suddenly, Brady throws an interception and it is run all the way back for a touchdown.
Carolina will then go for an onside kick and get the touchdown. However, their first two plays will be thrown away, and the backup quarterback has been injured. It seems as though Carolina's hopes and dreams have been destroyed when suddenly, Joe Namath suits up and tries to kiss all the Patriots and they retreat to their locker rooms, the Patriots are then forced to forfit and Carolina takes home their first Superbowl.
I had a dream, and this is how it happened. So place your bets ladies. |
