The NFL Playoffs are all set. Some surprises occurred near the end, but we all have to deal with it now regardless of who's in and who's out.
This is when NFL gets interesting. Win or get eliminated. So who's going to be the NFL Champions this year? It sure won't be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers nor the Oakland Raiders.
I may not know much about football, but I'm making my prediction now for who will win the Super Bowl. It's the Green Bay Packers... they have been on a recent rampage since the death of Brett Favre's father and it appears it would be the only way he'd want to retire.
For you advanced sports fans, try guessing the other team to play in the championship and what the final score will be. |

For someone who doesn't "care" about sports, you sure know that the Houston Oilers are no longer in the league and that it's impossible to score just one point in a game. |

| what little knowledge I have about Pro Football, leads me to think that the Philadelphia Eagles will win the Super Bowl this year. They have home field advantage, and I doubt anyone will beat them at home. |

| Hello my fellow calecianos! It has been a long wait, 3 years to be excact that my beloved Denver Broncos have not been in the playoffs. The time has come for us to shine! We have fought through season ending injuries, weather complications, locker room distraction, and many nonbelieving fans throughout the season. Let me say this, not this crazynegro! I've been put. Gone through some terrible ulcers and fu@#!*ed hangovers, but it's been worth every Sunday and 2 Mondays. Now, let me say why I believe the Denver Broncos will be a force to be dealt with. With the 7th overall offense and 4th overall defense, we have been very effective running the ball with great time possesion. This enable us to keep their offense sitting down. While our defense is stingy and doesn't give that many yards or points. I believe that what separate us from other teams, is the fact that most of our players where once non draftees that had to work there way from the bottom. They were given a chance late in there careers and are now showing the other teams the mistake they've made. I think I've written to damn much now. All I'm saying here is this, DENVER BRONCOS ARE HEADING TO HOUSTON! It was the first game the Broncos played during preseason, and it shout be the last one too! Go Broncos! Arriba los Broncos de Colorado! Chapulin colorado, este cuento del negro se ha acabado! |

The Packers were on a rampage even before the death of Brett Favre's father, having won their last four games convincingly. The Packers are definitely the hottest team going into the playoffs.

Only if they can stop Peyton Manning. Yes, the Colts' run defense is susceptible (and the Broncos have one of the best running backs out there), but if the Colts can force a shootout by scoring early, then the Broncos are in trouble. I believe that Manning will win his first playoff game this weekend.
My Super Bowl picks have got to be the Titans (if not them, the Patriots) and Packers.
The Patriots seem to be able to win on all sides of the ball, but Steve McNair (my MVP pick) seems to be able to will the Titans to victory on his own, and I chose the Packers, because I believe the hottest team in December has the momentum to win in January. |
