Anybody ever go to the Rumorosa to eat tacos de vapor? I love going there, especially in the summer when it's real hot here, and it's nice and fresh up there, and in winte, when it' snows. I go to the original, tacos Lalo, they are the shit.

Man, I haven't been to La Rumorosa since I was a kid. Are those tacos al vapor easy to find?

Since you haven't been to the Rumorosa in a long time let me tell you that they made a new road, two lanes going up and 2 coming down, not like before that it was just 1 lane each way. Therefore it only takes about 30-40 minutes to get there, depending on traffic and how fast you drive. As soon as you go into the poblado, there's a concrete slab dividing the two lanes, and as soon as the concrete ends, signal a left turn, and turn left across the other side of the oncoming traffic lane. You cant miss it, it says Tacos Lalo, and there's a little cart, which was the original cart in which they started selling tacos in,and due to their succes, they now expanded to that building. If you do decide to go, you've got to play futbolito, which they have like 3 tables on the back porch.

Nah Ameri-cano, those are tacos al pastor, totally different. Although tacos al pastor are freaking good too, but I wouldn't try them at Del Taco. I go to this little cart in san marcos (mexicali) that sells the best tacos al pastor in mex, of course with it's respective slice of pineapple.

tacos lalo is not as good as they use to be b-4 but they are still good. they had a different taste to them.
