Okay, it's been two consecutive weeks that the Bush administration interrupts my football pre-game analysis. Last week the oval office at around 9:30 PST stated that Saddam Hussein had been captured the NIGHT before. Then today at around the same time 9:40 PST the Bush administration raised the terrorist level to HIGH alert.
Does he really need to interrupt football Sunday with suck trivial shit?

Wow.
His approval rating must have plummetted after this stunt. It would have been ideal to have broken the news during the first few weeks* of the NFL season when the games didn't really matter too much.
Come on. You know Bush loves attention, so what better time to show his face and make sure the world is listening than during a big game like the Broncos vs. Colts. You know that just about every American is tuned in at that time. Even revramrod was watching.
Anything for 9/11.
* And when they** suspect that Saddam Hussein was actually in custody.
** They, meaning all the conspiracy theorists. |

Honest question here... I'd like to get some valid responses.
When the Threat Level changes, like it just did from yellow (elevated) to orange (high), how does it affect you? Are you now in a state of fear, more cautious or absolutely unaffected by it? |

Yes. Yes. Yes.
I'm scared to cross the border. Bushy raises the threat level and I spend an additional 30-50 minutes in line. |
