New Year's is rapidly approaching and many are looking forward to be partying when the clock strikes midnight. The problem is that many are also concerned about being at a bad party where celebrating the new year is nothing more than your average weekend pistiada.

In order to avoid this situation, we post our ideas on what would make a New Year's party a New Year's party.

To have an all out night you gotta go all out and get the Guiness Keg you and you're friends have been talking about for years. Oh, and don't forget the 40 dollar a plate Fillete Mignon.

What we're thinking is possibly getting two kegs. One Newcastle, one Guinness. There will be a variety of hard liquor.

No on-site cooked food this time. Everyone usually comes over with a full stomach and if not, well there's plenty of JITB and the new Carl's Jr. Appetizers and snacks to be provided.

We'll have the classic party games, plus bringing in a classic multiplayer arcade game: Ironman Stewart's Super Off-Road. Anyone have Gauntlet?
