Wow. This supermarket really sucks.

A lot of the prices for many of the items are not at all cheaper than other regional or local markets. The prices they compare against appear to be the MSRPs that the manufacturer provides and not that of any other store like Albertsons, Vons or even Sol Market. In fact, many of the items are priced much higher than other businesses.

Fruits and vegetables are unacceptable. They are smaller and many do not appear to be ripe or else are already rotting away on the shelves. The selection blows, but you can expect that since they use the same tactics Wal-Mart lives by.

Looking for help? Forget about it.

The "muzak" is horrible. They have the worst selection of music that completely irritates the hell out of you once you realize there are songs playing in the background.

At the register, you better bag your groceries super quick or the chances of having one of us bitch at you increases with every second.

Can someone tell me what's good about this store?

Food 4 Less is pretty cheap. Their fruits, vegetables, and meats can be a lot better, but there still reasonably priced.

Vons 3 limes for 1 George Washington.
F4L 10 limes for 1 Chopping Cherry Tree mother fucker.

Beer at Vons, C'mon why would anyone buy beer at Vons? (Good beer excluded).
F4L reasonable.

I think we have to put the shitty limes in a context that verbal can understand. Imagine cutting up some shitty limes to place in the ice cold mexican beer of your choice. You notice that the lime peel is very shitty looking and mushy. Would you still drop it in your beer? When put in the context of beer drinking everything makes sense.
