Add another zero to that number and you'll probably come close to the amount of jobs they had to cut to get the Dow Jones to pass 10,000.

Another round of layoffs at Worldcom, 1,400 to go at AT&T before Christmas, 60% of the west coast AOL employees axed... Yup, everything is going to be just fine.
