Toluca beat the crap out of Pumas 2-0 at C.U., and the global score was 4-2. (Ke onda con tus gatitos Lil Parejita?) The first game at La Bombonera (Toluca's home) was tied 2-2, but if Jose Cardozo would of played at 100% (he didn't practice all week because of a stomach virus), there's no way pumas would'vd tied them, and that was proved on the second game.

Tigres of UANL beat Cruz Azul 1-0 on the first game at Estadio Azul (cruz azul's home). In the second game Cruz Azul beat Tigres 2-1 at "El Volcan" to tie the global score 2-2, which allowed Tigres to pass on the the semifinals because of their higher position in the league standings.

Atlante beat Santos de Torreon 3-1 in their home in Nezahualcoytl in the first game, and tied 2-2 in the second game in Torreon, which allowed them to advance to the seminfinals with an aggregate score of
5-3.

In the last quartefinal Pachuca beat Necaxa 3-1 in Aguascaliente, and then went home and lost 2-1, but still managed to pass with a 4-3 global score.

The semifinals are as follow: Toluca vs Tigres game 1 wednesday from La Bombonera and Atlante vs Pachuca game 1 Thursday from Neza Game 2's will be Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Personally I think that Toluca vs Tigres should of been the final. I think that the winner of this series will be the next champion, Although Altante can give the surprise because of their young talent and the scoring ability of Chamagol and Luis Gabriel Rey.

It's funny how a 2-0 score in soccer is considered a blow out.

How is that funny? It's very difficult to score a goal in soccer and each score is counted as one (1) point.

What's this 6 or 3 points for a score shit?

It's very difficult to hit a baseball in the major leagues, too. But you don't hear them say that a 2-0 score is a rout.

No 2-0 is not actually considered a blow out, but the way in which they did it made it seem like a blowout. Toluca totally dominated the game, and in Puma's home, which made it seem even worse. I've seen 3-0 games that were very evenly played, but in soccer the chances you have to score don't count, only the goals you do score.

That's because in America, bigger is better.

I saw a game a few years back where Mexico won 6-0. What would you consider that?
