I bought a basic black button-down collared shirt over the weekend that was on sale which I couldn't pass on. The only problem was that it was a litte long and I prefer not to tuck it in, so I'm looking to maybe finding a local tailor who is capable of doing professional alterations (i.e. - so it looks like no work was actually done).
Have any of you ever had any clothes altered by a tailor here, and if so do you have any recommendations? |

| I had a Tux jacket tailored in Mex. and they did a good job on it. My dad has also had suits tailored over there i'm sure they'll do shirts. the place is on Madero called Mondragons. Right across the street from the Golden China resturant |

What's the charge for altering an item? $5 to $10? |

| the tux jacket was 100 pesos, which i thought was cheap. I haven't really tried any other place. i'm sure a shirt would be less |
