Lookin' good. It's not 'til October, but we've already got the location, the caterer, and the music set up. Best DJ in the valley, and we've also got Art McClintock coming in to play with some of his old buddies from Calexico.
Add an open bar, and all you need is a bail bondsman on call, right? |

I remember George's Mkt on...3rd Street was it? Not to mention Lupe's on the corner of Blair and 5th. The Double M with ice cold beers and great pool tables although I didnt get to be in there during its' heyday..and in remembrance of the '79 earthquake I have to say the 7,2 was scarier.

If your that OLD school then you must have been around Calecia during the times folks used to cross the border by jumping the canal banks or just walking over a brittle fence...bienvenido...do you 'member Georges Market? |
We used to ride our motorcycles across out east toward Barbara Worth Rd. The wire just lay on the ground there, and Border Patrol didn't seem to give a damn about kids running back and forth. Out toward Mt. Signal, we could cross over on horseback, and never even see a fence.
George's sounds familiar, yeah. Where was it? Downtown? |
