Oh, come on. There's got to be a rule for being "Old School Calecia" where you actually experienced the claim. Otherwise I'll start posting up:
If you hung out at De Anza Hotel during the Prohibition Era.
If you're a Calexico Pioneer, as many "elite" already claim for the Imperial Valley. |

| It was a big tragedy because the local high school kid trapped and died in the fire. Downtown was great. Movie Theatres(doubleheaders); restaurants; soda fountains; bars galore; high school kids worked in the stores; local merchants who kept downtown clean; Mexico was a one minute walk. You got a haircut, ate tacos and went to some clean bars with cheap drinks. |
