| No way in hell the pumas are gonna win this year, or any other year in which Hugo Sanchez is coaching them. I'm just saying that cause I hate Hugo and the Pumas, but seriously, that's what I like about the mexican league, that every team has an equal chance to win, unlike most of the major leagues where only 2 teams win the championship. Personally my team is America, although they have ended this year on a bad note. America still has a slight chance of qualifying as well as chivas and cruz azul (the 3 biggest teams in mexico). Can't wait till this weekend when all the games are played at the exact same time and you could see how the teams swithch positions as the time goes by and teams score. VAMOS AMERICA !! |

I like Cruz Azul, but I really have not clue about the standing of mexican soccer, is there some site I could go to?
On Another note, I take it you don't not watch Football. this season you get supposed superbowl contenders sucking shit and team like the cowboys and panthers who are a top their division. NFL is dope. |

Here you can find all the statistics for the Mexican soccer league.
I'm not really into football, but I do watch it sometimes and I am aware of the favorite teams sucking big time (raiders, bucs,) and shitty teams doing pretty good (cowboys, bengals,). I prefer to watch college football, since it's more entertaining, the stadiums are louder and there is a "soccer" atmosphere. Also the players play for the love of the game and try their best to make it to the NFL, and NFL players are in it for the money, since they already made it to the big time. |

College sports suck! Until the NCAA comes up with a better system to determine a football champion, and figures out how to keep their best basketball players past their sophmore years, it'll keep sucking. The only people that I can understand getting into college sports are the alumni. |

| I agree that something has to be done with the way the rankings work, especially since USC was just robbed of the 2nd spot. I wasn't talking about that though, I was talking about the games being more entertaining, and the fact that every single week the rankings change, it brings more excitement to the game. [/quote] |

How the hell do the rankings work anyways. I always see teams that are like 15-0, but are in 54th place. That doesn't make sense.
Oh, by the way, Puro Necaxa!!! |

Here's a complete explanation of how the shitty BCS rankings work.
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tvlistings/abcStory?page=bcsexplanation
USC better be in the championship game or else I'm gonna be pissed. Ohio state has a difficult game against Michigan this saturday, and USC should have no problem against UCLA, hopefully by monday USC is back at #2. |
