| I drove by the intersection of Kloke and Highway 98 this morning and read a sign on the southeast corner that said a Jack-In-The-Box would be opening there in the spring of 2004! How many fucking Jack-In-The-Boxes (or is it Jacks-In-The-Box?) does this fucking city need? This is exactly the type of shit that goes on over and over here in the Valley. We overkill what we have instead of bringing new businesses in. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I'd much rather see an In-N-Out or Sonic's Drive-In built there, than another goddamn Jack-In-The-Box! It's almost as bad as having all these fucking car lots in town. |

It's 5, count em, 5 Jack in the Box's.
1) Next to the border
2) On Imperial Ave.
3) Next to Wal-Mart
4) Next to the high school
5) Next to AM-PM (soon to be built)
The saddest part is, they're all gonna make it. They're all in good locations. I wouldn't be surprised if the one by AM-PM did better than the rest of them, excluding the one next to the border, it's gonna be the only place to eat on that side of town. Bonus bucks goes to the fact that it's right next to Willie Moreno Jr. High School. |

Your forgetting the one that is about to open pretty soon by the new port of entry.
As for Bemissnorris, why do we have overkill in the valley? The answer is simple Chicalones.
Chicalones do not want to experiment , they like Jack so they go to jack. They do not want to feel embarassed by not knowing what a double-double is or a coney dog. They would rather stick to the old Jumbo Jack then to ask "que es un coni dog".
Thanks to chicalones I am going to have to drive to EC to go to sonics. I hate EC. |

That's a cop out. You can't blame everything on Mexicali. Calexico residents -- Imperial Valley residents, as a whole -- need to take responsibility for the lack of quality services here in the valley.
What's next? Blaming Jews, homosexuals and political dissidents 'cause we don't have a decent bar in Calexico? |

| I have to agree with revramrod on this. The chicalones aren't the only ones to blame. The lack of services in towns like Calexico and other small towns where they don't have chicalones is that the people in general don't like to experiment. |

Actually that's your fault for prefering to buy a twenty pack and stuff it with ice in front of your friends house. |

What kind of experimenting are you talking about? |
