We are currently looking for people who would like to participate in a halo lan tourney in El Centro, if you're interested (or know of someone that might be) and can also help us by bringing either a tv set, xbox w/a copy of halo, or both please contact me at vashgunsmoke00@yahoo.com
Entry fee will be $5
Description : starting with 16 players and eliminating the 3 players who come in last after every round until there is a final round of 3 who battle for first place.
1st Place :$80
Game settings :Slayer (free for all) 25 kills to win, 100% shield, no infinite grenades , warthogs available in larger maps
Maps :Blood Gulch, Sidewinder, Hang em High, Battle Creek, Wizard,
Final Round :Blood Gulch
Starting equipment :
Pistol & Assault rifle
There will also be carne asada tacos and refreshments at the event 
There is no set date right now as we are trying to gather enough people and equipment to prepare, event was planned to be held at the new arcade in 2 weeks but that looks like it's not gonna happen, so expect it to be held somewhere on main st. again if you want more info contact me at vashgunsmoke00@yahoo.com |

First off, the food and drink will not be free, the owner of the location is kindly letting us use the space and all that he asks from us is if he can sell some food. I think it's a lot better than having everyone pay like 5 bucks or so just to get in
correction: 3 will be eliminated until there are only 4 left who will play for 1st place, each player will have one full screen to themselves (since there will be 4 tv's)

On main st. in el centro, right in the middle of two bars  "The New Esquire", and "Los A's de oro" I believe
and you don't have to buy the game, but If you have it, it would help us if you brought it, this is what we currently have:
-3 xbox's (1 needed)
-2 tv's (2 needed)
-3 copies of halo (1 needed)
-10 xbox controllers (6 needed)
*1 router w/4 straight cables
*marks completed items
This isn't gonna happen overnight, and like I said before, we're trying to get as many people involved as possible right now so we can have it in a few weeks. so far we have eight people who said would attend, and we're trying to contact some of the local halo clans, and one from brawley who claim to be undefeated. more info later. contact me at my new address: Recklessx@sbcglobal.net |
