For those of you that work, specifically with other people in the same office space, you probably have a few workplace annoyances that you just can't get rid of without causing an intra-office dispute. So you somehow end up dealing with it every day, as if working wasn't bad enough.

One might say, "Find another job." or "Be direct.", but these are troubled times and one can't be too adventurous, can they?

I happen to have a few annoyances, but there is one in particular that really bugs the hell out of me. Well, actually two.

The Whistler
The whistler is the one employee who enjoys whistling while they work. You can't blame someone who enjoys whistling a tune while they work, right? Well how about when this whistler isn't very good at whistling?

A different tune everyday. Whatever is on the radio or just a random song. Always annoying.

As they come into work, sit at their desk, walk to the restroom, leave home, they whistle. I know it bothers everyone in the area, but no one has the guts to complain.

Note: It's already happened once as I write this post.

Resolution: Pick up the same habit or wear ear phones/muffs.

The Laugher
Jokes at work are great, especially to break up the monotony. They even say laughing is good for your health. So how could laughing become an annoyance at work? When the laugher has the most annoying laugh in the world, of course!

This laugh is loud... the loudest. Almost identical to that of the stereotypical broom riding, black cat owning, pot stirring witch. No one likes witches.

Thankfully, this person isn't in the same building with me, but occasionally they pay a visit and as they reach the entrance they make their presence known to all. Starting with the receptionist, they begin their little chitchat and it always involves laughing. I'm not sure what jokes are involved, since I can't hear them from my location, but I sure can hear the laugh echoing through the hallways. Sometimes these visits only involve the front of the building, but there are times when we are blessed with their visitation.

Resolution: Have them terminated, by any means necessary or go outside.

This is kind of like the whistler, but slightly different.

The Rockstar

This is the guy who's got his earphones on and can't help but to share the song with his coworkers, drums and all.

I have begun to hate many songs thanks to this guy.

The worst is when their voice is cracking because they're trying to sing at a high pitch and they can't notice it thanks to the headphones.

Resolution: Bring some headphones of your own, or, ROCK ON WITH HIM!!! Butt Rock Extreme

(I thought I'd make your qoute short)

I see it this way, Mr. Chiclets executive, I always say, if you can easily pin point what your co-workers are doing, you have nothing else better to do yourself. keep your self busy. Or better yet, close the door to your office. I'm assuming you have an office, right?

Shame Shame on you for posting during working hours.

Well, the thing is that not all of us have the privlage to work in one of those online cam strippers who eat funnel cake and rub it on their snatch to turn on some guy, like you. Most jobs are in cubicles, that are not sound proof incase you where wondering. Also why would it be a shame to post during work, your an idiot if you can't, what better than to get paid for posting on Calecia.com

The Snob

It doesn't matter that they make the same amount of money as you or that they're on the same rung of the corporate ladder as you; they still have to go out of their way to let you know how much better they have it than you.

Resolution: Beat the shit out of them.*

*Or get a raise or promotion.
