How can we have a Food and Drink forum and not have mentioned the Oasis Hotdog Stand in it? If you're not from Calexico, you must stop by for a hotdog and rootbeer float here on 2nd street before heading to Mexicali.

Is that the name of this place? I went there last week and it just said "HOT DOGS". I didn't have the courage to ask what the real name was.

I had myself one hot dog and a rootbeer float. The hot dogs are $1.70, which I thought were very overpriced. The root beer float was $1.70, which I thought was reasonable.

It's just been added to Calecia.com Food & Drink as Oasis Hot Dog Stand. Does anyone know their telephone number or address?

I'm pretty sure that's what it's called...it was owned by the same people that owned the Oasis Burger which was located on the corner across the street from JC Penny's. Man, I miss Oasis burgers. Crying or Very sad

I think the hotdogs are well worth it.

I passed by the hot dog stand today and I think they are either remodeling or maybe they are closing it for good. They have it closed with no sign or anything, maybe I didn't see it, but anyway, I knew they had to do something about the plumbing.
