Did you see the Raiders v. Chiefs? The Raiders won 24-0.
The Raiders defense shutout the Chiefs offense (which just happens to be the highest scoring offense in the NFL)! So, yes, D.
Charlie Garner rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown, while Rich Gannon threw for only 79 yards! So, yes, running game.
I'll say it one more time: THE RAIDERS ARE THE MOST BALANCED TEAM IN THE NFL! and the Faggot-Whiners aren't making it past their first playoff game! |

it's funny that you only mention one game. it seems it's like that whenever something happens. they stopped ladanian...but not ricky williams.
now the raiders have a running game. they have a good defense. take two factors into the mix that were conveniently left out.
1) it was raining hard. of course you're going to run the ball more than pass. it ensures you don't lose the ball as often. if it wasn't raining, believe me, the raiders would pass, pass, pass.
2)priest holmes was hurt. believe me. he did it once, he would have done it again against the raiders. he would have run all over their asses, and all the raider fans would be throwing bottles on the field just like they did when they got worked by the chargers in oakland
maybe the 49ers might not beat the giants in the first round, but at least we're not stuck in dream land thinking that whenever something goes wrong it's because it's an anti-raider thing. |

49ers beat giants. Fuck every one! 49ers are the shit.
Chainsmoking monkey- you can't get on the bandwagon till next season cause you had no faith. there is still a lot to go but 49ers can do it.
for any one who is interested a couple of Calecia.com people showed up to burgers and beer to watch the game, it was a good fucking time, well i was drinking. but we are going to watch the next 49er game this weekend at the same place.

Dude, if you're going to make an argument, at least get your facts straight.
Priest Holmes averaged less than 4 yards a carry against the Raiders. It was the Chiefs' passing game that actually lead to the victory. The Raiders' defense was third in the league vs. the run.
Unfortunately, it's the Raiders' lackluster passing defense that lead to their collapse the 2nd quarter of the season and against the Dolphins.
Unlike the Faggot-Whiners, the Raiders won't need the referees' help to win games in the playoffs. |

How about that tuck rule.
Don't believe stats too much. Watch the games please. There's nothing like NOT watching the game and then looking up the stats to prove your ignorance.
The reason why the Raiders have a high ranking on rush D is because in the beginning of the season when the Raiders were scoring about 40 ppg teams had to abandon he run and go with the pass. Then later in the season teams foung out that why run, when you can pass on the Raiders. C.Woodson and the rest of the secondary got hurt and teams exploited them. R.Woodson came up huge for the secondary. Still, the point is that teams can run on the Raiders. They can also pass on them.
