I think part of the curriculum in Mains was to freak the shit out of it's students.

I remember that there was practically an urban legend for every room in that school.

Kind of like the one about "La Llorona" living in the boy's restroom for 1st to 3rd grade. That one worked really well too because there was always blood on the bathroom floor.

Even though we all knew it was fake, you never wanted to be the kid that got thrown in there by yourself, especially when there are 15 kids making sure you couldn't get out.

Just out of curiousity, why didn't you post this under "Local Urban Legends"?

Because it's specifically for school urban legends.

Not something from Cole Rd.

I have a School Urban Legend from mains, actually two.
The first is about the Special ed. student who was jerking off in the bathroom, saying "Tatiana, Tatiana" while he was doing it. I didn't see it but it was supposed to have happened while I was there.

The Next one is of this group of kids who took off during lunch to go watch "Porky's" Then they all got busted, The last I heard that group of kids turned into a bunch of Alcholics. what a shame. Sad

You know, the first one, "La Llorona," might qualify as a local urban legend, but the other two down the thread don't even come close.

And yeah, the original post should have gone under the "Local Urban Legends" thread.
