you expect too much out of movies. maybe if you'd watch movies expecting them to be major pieces of crap, you won't be that disappointed with them.

Have you seen Solaris (1970's)? If so, what did you think? I've only seen the 70s Solaris and I'd be lying if I said it is easy viewing.

No, I haven't. But Amp, who is currently MIA from Calecia.com, once gave me his thoughts on the original Russian version. They went something like this: "ZZZ zzz ... ZZZ zzz ... ZZZ zzz ..."
