This movie should have been called, "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Piece of Shit."

Man, this movie only appeals to those who have never seen "Kung Fu" movies before, or those who pretty much accept anything the mainstream says is cool.

If you wanna watch a good "Kung Fu" movie, watch, "The Seven Samurai."

I actually like it a lot.
A thought the flick was original. I watched it at the theaters and the cinematography was awesome.
The fighting sequences were intense (the score was solid). The fighting scene on the trees was a little far fetched, but other than that they were cool.
Plus, that chick was a damn little asian hottie.

Thank You. I totally agree. That movie blew donkeys. I tried to watch it, I really did, but I just couldn't get into it. It was stupid.

The movie The Maginificent Seven is based on The Seven Samurai. I've seen both and they are pretty good.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was an excellent movie in my opinion. It was well shot and even though the dialogue was in a foreign language the acting was terrific. And plus, who doesn't like to see people flying around and fighting when they are high?

The Magnificent Seven is the American bastardization of The Seven Samurai.

I own both and The Magnificent Seven doesn't hold a candle to The Seven Samurai.

I don't know, man. I really enjoyed Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. But then again, I was raised on a steady diet of high-flying, fantasy martial arts movies.

Next on the DVD shopping list: San Shao Ye De Jian.
