Good, f him. Maybe he'll go back to playing good music instead of that reggae/rap/pop crap he's been playing lately. |

That Django song is pretty good. everything else sucks though. I think is funny that he wrote all those love songs for his wife and she left him for that dude from Queens of the Stone Age |

I smell an Operation Ivy reunion coming right around the corner. |

That would probably be one of the only reunion shows that might not suck. |

All original members or nothing at all. |

Nothing at all sounds good to me. Pick it up, pick it up, pick it up.
Ska/Ska Punk is dead, and its fans should be too. Pick it up, pick it up, pick it up. |

Alright. I think I've garnered enough exposure to Metallica's new album via MTV and other people's car radios at traffic lights to form an opinion on their new album.
My opinion? Embarrassing. Watching their two new videos make me cringe. The band looks pathetic and the music is simply abhorrent. Their blatant grasps for relevance are almost as bad as Madonna's, for Christ's sake.
Tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tock. Hear that Metallica? That's your career's clock reaching it's 11th hour.
At least Jason Newsted had the foresight to jump ship and join a real band. Although, I don't think Voivod will ever come close to releasing anything as good as "Dimension Hatross" or "Nothingface" ever again. |

Yes, I believe he did. Wasn't Metallica's new bassist Ozzie's old tour bassist as well? Nonetheless, Jason Newsted is in Voivod. |

The new Metallica bassist is the old bassist from Suicidal Tendencies, no? |
