I wasn't sure what forum to add this too, but I figure this is the closest one.

Maybe one of you guys can answer my question.

I'd like to add a new phone line, not a new number, in another room of my house, so I called Pac Bell and they want to charge me almost 200 bucks. I was like f' that!

Then, I remembered that in this day in age, we have phone jack splitters, however, I don't want a 25 ft phone line running across my house. Do they make any wireless phone jack splitters? Or, is there anything else I could do?

It really sucks having to run across the house to the kitchen to get the phone everytime it rings.

I know that they sell a cordless phone set that has two handsets, yet requires only one base. I think I saw it at Target.

Yeah, they sell two phone sets that require one jack and you can out the second one anywhere you have power outlet. We sell them at Costco, but they do run over $100.

I've seen phoe jack that hook up to an out let and and another one to the phone with the jack and it's suppose to transmit the signal. I think they sell those at Staples, Sears or Radio Shack.

Screw that. What you need is a younger sibling, or a child capable of walking, that you can use as your telephone henchman (Works great with remote controls, too.)

Or you can simply buy a cordless phone.

I purchased an RCA Wireless Phone Jack*, and it is definitely worth the money. It does everything I need it to do. It even makes me coffee in the morning.

* For all of you that took the time to read this. They are currently on clearance at the Home Depot for 40 bucks, and has been discontinued. Compared to like 60 or 70 bucks anywhere else, it's an awesome deal. So if you need one, get one now. This deal is not advertised, just trust me.
