Does anyone know where to buy real firecrackers year round? I'm looking for megatones, barritas and the ones that say POW!.

I haven't been to El Hoyo in years, so I'm not sure if the firecracker black market there is still booming.

Thanks.

I saw a place when I went to retreive a large family vehicle from the place where the mex cops stick the cars they pull over. The store is right next door but I don't know what that part of mex is called. Just get pulled over and you'll find it.

maybe you refer to La Yarda south of downtown Mexicali but that place had a major decline after Cachanilla was opened in the late 80s-early 90s.

The place to go is Coheteria Cachanilla I went there once, you go to the Nuevo Mexicali Plaza on Lazaro Cardenas Blvd in the palaco environs and from there take the road that takes you straight to the east. You will head toward Ejido Islas Agrarias A a few kilometers to the east, before you arrive there you will see a sign of the place directing you to a hut in a remote lot.

you'd have to go to "la Yarda" in mex....and you have to ask around......do'nt go looking all rich and shit...or they'll think you're a pig and not give you anything....
