Have you had an order of Glenn Cadrez Rice or sampled some of Bill's R.V. Nachos? These are just a couple of the names of dishes that I've come across while eating at local restaurants. I haven't tried them myself, but they sure are good enough for a laugh.

So what's it take to have a meal named after you here in the Imperial Valley?

What restaurant serves those? The only dish I've seen at a restaurant named after someone is the (1 pound) Tom DeRosierburger at Burgers and Beer. According to the menu it was "made on the request of Mr. Tom DeRosier, a resident of El Centro, CA."

Maybe if you ask for a 2 pound burger at Burgers and Beer we can soon start ordering the ElChrist burger.

The Glenn Cadrez Rice* was at China Palace and Bill's R.V. Nachos at Burgers and Beer, both in El Centro.

* This one cracks me up for some reason.

Who is Bill?
I met Tom DeRoiser once. He came into work and I asked him if he was the guy who had the burger named after. He said he was and he can't finish that monster anymore. He looks like a Biker.

Bill must own some R.V. sales/rental place here in the valley. Never heard of the place/guy.
