i like applebee's. they also have somethings that the others don't. a bar in the middle of the restaurant. they also carry micro-brews. i just hope they stock some here. i also hope that the people that work there don't think that budlight is a micro-brew. |

They said that they are looking into El Centro as well. I hope so. I would go there. I'm not a much a club person and it would be nice to have a full service bar where they dont have music blastn' in you ear, plus you can order some hot wings.
I heard that they are going to build somnething in El Centro like a Coco's or something. |

About a week ago I could have cared less if Applebee's came or not, but after going to Denny's last week I have to say I can't wait for the arrival of Applebee's.
Denny's blows. The service is awful. The food is old and burnt. The lettuce was nasty. The bacon looked like it had been cooked about 7 hours before.
Since I'm not a big fan of Carrows that only leaves B&B. Only one place in this town to eat. Pretty sad. C'mon Carl's. |

Has anyone eaten at the Applebee's in Mexicali? I'm asking because I'm sure we'll be able to gauge the quality of food and service from this location.

True dat. Denny's in Calexico is awful, but I like the one in El Centro.

Carrows blows.
Burgers and Queers is one of the few good restaurants in Calexico, but you may want to try out D'Poly's on 2nd St., I believe. It's surprisingly good and inexpensive. |
