Denny's, Carrow's, Applebee's... isn't this all the same shit?
I heard someone mention the possibility of a Chili's in El Centro. |

No. |
Then what's the difference?
I've had meals at Denny's, Carrow's, Marie Calendar's, Coco's, Friday's, Trophy's, but not Applebee's. At these restaurants I've been to, in a few different cities, they all serve the same over-priced, mediocre dishes. Are you telling me that Applebee's is the one restaurant of this type that is actually good? |

To be honest, I actually enjoy some of the food at these restaurants. Each restaurant has a certain dish or specialty that I crave occasionally. At Applebee's it's the Chimi-Cheesecake. |

I personally think that some of the dishes are over-priced, especially when it comes to basic meals like hamburgers which can range between $6 and $8. Burgers and Beer (in El Centro) has their burgers priced much lower and the quality is a lot better.
Shit, the other day I was at Denny's and these guys in the table next to me just kept on yapping and yapping. One guy must've said the work "fuck" about a million times in the conversion. No shame, I tell ya. You get the lowest of the lowest at these places too, so that's another reason I try and avoid eating at these establishments. |

I agree that Burgers and Beer has much better food than those other places.

I love Applebee's. Applebee's is more of a Bar and Grill. I would not put it on the same category as Denny's or Carrow's. I mean this place has a full service bar in te middle of the damn place.
I will never go to the Applebee's in Calexico. I have seen Calexico fuck up descent resturants, but I will not see the fuck up Applebee's I love it that much.
I love going to the Applebee's in Parkway. And have some ribs with a tall frosty glass of Karl Strauss Amber Lager. It Fucken Kicks Ass!!! |
