Has anyone eaten at the Applebee's in Mexicali? I'm asking because I'm sure we'll be able to gauge the quality of food and service from this location.

I've eaten at the Applebee's in Mexicali and I've been to a couple here in the U.S., and I must say that comparing the Applebee's in Mexicali to any in the U.S. is like comparing the NBA to the WNBA. Sure they're basically the same product, but the quality is miles apart.

you may want to try out D'Poly's on 2nd St., I believe. It's surprisingly good and inexpensive.

D'Poly's is very good. I recommend the D'Poly burrito.

I liked both of the Applebee's I visited in the States, but the Mexicali one sucked.

Okay that's what I thought I hate the one Mexicali. I love the one by Parkway. Awesome service, bartender and food.

So when you ate at the Applebee's in Mex, did you go all dressed up? You know, were you trying to fit in with the rest of the ay papi community.

The bartender is usually a chick at El Cajon but there is also some dude a few time. The chick is cool. You sit at the bar and hse flirts with you the whole time.

D'oh! My bad. I just realized that I was confusing TGIFriday's for Applebee's. It was the TGIFriday's that I went to in Mexicali, not Applebee's.

So, it was the TGIFriday's that blew chunks...I don't know what the Applebee's is like. I don't even know where the Applebee's is at. Sorry.

I'm with stupid
