does anyone remember E.T. for the atari? Can anyone tell me what the point of this game was? All I remember is running from screen to screen for about an hour and never knowing what I was supposed to be doing? If you can, shine some light.

the game sucked. the point of the game was to lead et to the mothership using your reeses pieces. that was also the first video game to use that kind of product licensing. if i'm wrong, let me know.

I remember the big bright light incident. It seems that only people from a certain area in Calexico saw it. Must be the water in that area.

I remember that in ET you could be walking and then you fell down the screen into a cave or something. That fuckin sucked because it took like 2 days to get out of the cave. Still hate it today.

Also, there was a kid on my block that said he got the highest score at Round Table (can't remember the game, though it could be Spy Hunter) and he said the game stopped, and the arcade took his picture.

That was probably the biggest lie I had heard until that point. The biggest lie before that was that Maritza would have sexual intercourse on the "colchon".

Atari buried millions of unsold "E.T." cartridges in a New Mexico desert landfill.

In Michael Jackson's Moonwalker game, the point of the game was to save children. That is so funny, cause now everyone has to save children from MJ, and it's not a game.

Yes, Bubbles is in the game, too.

No fucking way. That guy must have had some kind of cheat or something. I saw him get hit a few times and nothing happened to him.
