Dear friends:
I want to report a proposal that I have heard which will take place this Friday the 12 of December. As many of you may have already heard, our great governor Arnold already denied the proposals to give licenses to our Latino American people that are in this country "illegally." He is also trying to get rid of public aid and aid to students whose parents are here" illegally," which means they do not have the opportunity to seek higher learning. Some are not attending classes after they heard about this horrible news knowing that their parents are here without these documents needed to work and live in this land of the free.
But what are we doing???? The way we can help is NOT buying anything in the stores, gasoline, or send money to Latin America ( the money you send will still make money for some entity in the States ), in few words do not contribute your $$$$$$$$$$ to United States for one day, which is this Friday the 12 of December.
PLEASE, PLEASE, ANY THING THAT NEEDS TO BE PURCHASED DO IT BEFORE, FILL UP YOUR CARS WITH GAS BEFORE, BUT THIS FRIDAY DO NOT BUY ANYTHING. THIS WAY WE WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THIS COUNTRY EVEN A LITTLE BIT THAT IT NEEDS LATINOS. THANX FOR YOUR COOPERATION AND FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO ANYONE YOU MAY KNOW.
This could be interesting, but I doubt there'd be very much impact in the economy because of this. In fact, store owners might like this. |

Good for Oprah!!!! I'm sure many of you watched the recent taping of The Oprah Winfrey show where her guest was Tommy Hilfiger. On the show, she asked him if the statements about race he was accused of saying were true.
Statements like"... if I'd known African Americans, Hispanics, Jews and Asians would buy my clothes, I would not have made them so nice..
I wish these people would *NOT* buy my clothes, as they are made for upper class white people."
His answer to Oprah was a simple "YES". Where after she immediately asked him to leave her show.
My suggestion? Don't buy your next shirt or Perfume from Tommy Hilfiger. Let's give him what he asked for. Let's not buy his clothes. Let's put him in a financial state where he himself will not be able to afford the ridiculous prices he puts on his clothes.
