if you guys get streaming radio on your pc's try WOXY.com...

they play anything and everything, as long as it's good. most of the time this is where you hear bands first, before they become mainstream. they play everything from punk, to metal, death-metal, indie, emo, and sometimes if you're lucky some really good classic rock. no pop, and definitely nothing you would ever hear on Q96 or 98.3... it's free, and during the week it's live, so you can also request songs. you guys should give it a try.

if you guys listen to KUBO 88.7, try listening on saturday evenings, i think they're still on. it's the paradise city girls, they can be goof-offs, but they play really good music and they take any requests... Drum Rock M

I was listening to the Mexican national hour (yeah, I know) on XTRA 690 this past Sunday and after they played the Mexican national anthem, they said "News/Talk radio 690 XTRA, we're coming soon to a radio near you". I checked it out and yes, this station is changing format, I believe early next year.

so it seems that kubo 88.7fm will no longer be the same. it's going through some changes right now. changes with station managers and i hear that they're cutting back on local programming. i don't even know if i'll have my show anymore. so sad.
at least we still have npr. goddamnit.
