at least we still have npr. goddamnit. |
That lady i full of shit. she wanted to cut cost? on who or what? we are all volunteers that our only pay is the joy of being there. She wants to emphasize more on Satellite than local programing. The plan will be to have Mario run the station but only part time. If you want a show you are going to have to make it on weekends only. She also said that people have expect to have a half hour shows. You have to apply again if you want a slot. I'm going to look on the situation if it doesn't fit me then bye KUBO and hello another station. I also heard the the lady wanted to take all the Rock music out of the station. NPR is good but don't ever count on them having people running local programing like KUBO. |

You can talk to Mario about it. I will talk to him today and if I confirm what I told you then is no point in stayin there on the weekends only. I am planing on moving my show to another local station. I have a two year resume on KUBO and the type of show that I created is something that others don't have. I truly believe that my two year experience on 88.7 and all the work that I did will help me land a new deal. I truly believe that. My new years resolution was to make this year my breakthrough and hunt for big interivews with Cruz Bustamante, Boxer and national figures. I actually had a confirmed interivew with Bustamante next week but it seems its not going to happen. Dammit! But this will still be by breakthrough year and I mean it!!!!!!
You said about internet radio. Do you know how to start that? I might take a look at it.
Big Slick, what show did you had on KUBO? |

| I really doubt Bustamante will do your show, especially if you mean to challenge him. He doesn't seem the type to do anything unless it's an ass-kissing situation, or a win-win interview with all questions set up by his people. Good luck, though, I'd like to hear someone put some heat on him. |

Actually, the interview ws confirmed for this Wednesday so now its officially canceld. The people that work in their press office were nice and supportive.
The questions were pure hard question that would expose him like never before. Questions like how do you get along with Arnold? or was the SB60 a stagety to get the latino vote?
And so on.........
Thanks for your support. |
