California has always shafted her residents with hefty gas prices. Arizona unleaded goes for about $1.59 right now. Texas and New Mexico stations sell it for $1.29! What the fuck is up with california?
Even the motels are cheaper. How much is Motel 6 here, around $69? I paid $32 total for a better than average room in New Mexico. All the tourists were out and about this weekend, so you know everybody raised their prices. I bet they were probably charging $79 bucks for a room in California this weekend. |

It seems like Costco can't hang anymore with their low gas prices. Filling up today I saw that 87 octane was 3.16/9, while the 7-Eleven on Cole Rd. in Calexico is around 3.12/9.
I'm canceling my Costco membership and demanding a refund! |
