Actually the students are "protesting" the fact that next year the school wants to become a closed campus. that's all they really care about and shit yesterday they had about 300 motherfuckers out it's supposed to go on till friday, but the school is threating with suspensions and shit.
In defense of teachers I don't think they care that much if students are able to leave campus or not. Even though it may be stupid at least they are trying to change something. |

Well maybe the reason they want to make it a closed campus is so the students wont go out to get high. next to the camarena library not that iwould know anything about that. but im sure it still goes on.
i remember we walked out my sophmore year i think it was 95 or 96. the stupid reason we walked out was because they took Caps away how stupid is that. my ass never wore a cap but i could not miss out on walking out on school. well for whatever the reason it is that there trying to make it a closed campus the POT smokers can still smoke there nasty WEED* in the handball Courts |

| yeah, that's why they covered all around the handball courts... so the proctors wouldn't be accountable for kids getting high... i remember every time we passed through there, there was always a 40 with spicole's name on it. |

40 what?
Any ways, It's all about the benjamins, can you imagine how much money the "carritos" make everyday during lunch time? It's got to be a few thousand a day. Those things would always sell out when I was in high school. Now, you keep in all the kids who would go to jack in the box, mcdonalds, home, whatever, and keep em in the school, and that is muchos benjamines. |

| Well, since I am no longer a student at any high school...I have to admit that I couldn't care less whether or not they make it a closed campus. |

Closed campus = more $$$$.
Simple. You keep students in school then it will be less likely they will ditch. If they go to school then the HS can collect the $28 ADA for each student. The racks up very quick.
As for the students who protested they only got suspended that day. Not real punishment if you ask me.
The district does not see students at CHS they see dollar signs. |
