Google provides a variety of search services. One of them is an address/phone directory which includes business and personal entries.
You can do a lookup for your personal information on Google by entering your telephone number (e.g.: 760-357-0000) or your home address. If you're a little paranoid about people viewing your contact information online, you may want to remove your listing from Google, if in fact is is listed. To do so, click on the telephone icon and follow their removal instructions.
