I remember when I was a little kid, I used to love watching Masters of the Universe.:

I recently saw that movie, and oh man, that thing sucks. I immediately started thinking, "What the hell was wrong with me back then?"

I commented this to a friend shortly afterwards, and he told me the same thing happened to him with The Goonies:

I haven't really thought about it much since then, but does anybody have any similar experiences? Or what other movies would this probably happen with as well?

The only one I can think of is Monster Squad:

Your friend is a fucking retard. The Goonies still kicks ass after all these years.

Please make an effort to replace that friend with a rock or a piece of wood.

Monster Squad? *Phew, I thought I was the only one! I loved watching mentally challenged frankenstein get along with the "da squad" it brought a tear to my eye, it did.

I also remember the movie Young Einstein with Yahoo Serious, I was probably 10 or something watching with so much enthusiasm thinking that this man would be the biggest thing since sliced bread......we're waiting serious! Crying or Very sad

I'm the retard. But what i was trying to get at was that The Goonies that I saw as a kid. Is not the same movie any more. I'm not saying it's terribly, it just doesn't give me the same feeling of going on some fuckin' adventure any more. This is why I should not have watced it as a "grown-up"

Well, if that is that case, may I recommend Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas as a source of inspiration for your next adventure?

Let it go Spic . When you were young you never saw a movie that sucked so everything was cool back then. I remember the first movie I saw that thought totally blew ass. It was Weekend at Bernies 2, that crap sucked I was like 12 and I wanted to go ask for my money back.

The first movie to ever piss me off was Romancing the Stone. What a piece of shit! I remember feeling like I wasted some precious Transformers playing time.

I couldn't even look Starscream in the eye after that.
