What's the deal with paintball here in the Imperial Valley? What's someone gotta do to shoot someone (and not go to jail)?
I know that some people go to the Dunes to play, but are there any organized arenas where you can rent the equipment to play? |

I don't know if this place still exists, but I heard once that about a mile or two out of Calexico, there was a decent paint ball arena.
There's supposed to be another one that's pretty good next to CETY's in Mex. |

Paintball has really caught on here in the Valley over the past few years. Particularly among weekend-warriors and spoiled children.
There was a field out by Sunbeam Lake that was pretty popular for a while, but I'm sure it's been shut down by now.
I'm up for some mock-combat. But, I won't buy any equipment; only rent. I can't bring myself to pay for expensive, glorified toys when I can use the money to add another real weapon (1, 2) to my collection. |

I was told that the Seeley NAF has paintball gatherings ever so often. For $20 or $30 you can rent a paintball gun with ammunition, plus protective gear. The actual combat takes place at the infamous Heber Beach.
Right now's the perfect time to play, with the cold weather and all. |
