We are in the process of interviewing Frank Salazar, Calexico City Council candidate. We are asking for your suggestions on what questions and concerns you may have regarding Mr. Salazar's running for local government.

Since his Web site does not provide the necessary information to answer all the questions we may possibly have regarding his candidacy for city council, we must ask or demand why he is our best option for this role.

How do we know you just don't want to get elected and sit on you ass all day and not do shit like the rest of the local politicos?

Would you REALLY try to do something the other council members didn't agree with or would you just go with the flow to keep your job?

- If elected to the Calexico City Council, will you be accessible to the public? Will you listen to the public?

- Who will your loyalty belong to? The everyday citizen of Calexico, or local and outside investors looking to make a quick buck?

- Are you willing to be held accountable for your actions as a City Council Member? Are you willing to be held accountable for the actions of the City Council as a whole?

- Are you aware that corruption in the City of Calexico is a running joke across the Imperial Valley? What do you intend to do about it?

- Which families' need and concerns matter the most: A single-parent family living in Section 8 housing, or a well-off family living in a lavish home in Victoria Estates? Why?

- Do you intend to be proactive in bringing legitimate business and industry to the city? By legitimate I mean, business and industry that will provide residents with quality goods and services, but most important, stable and gainful employment?

- What will you do ensure said jobs go to residents of Calexico, and not to residents of Mexicali?

- How do you rate our city's police department? Be honest. How do you feel about about police officers using our city's police department as a stepping stone for their careers? (These officers obviously have no real commitment to the community.)

- In the event of a life-threatening emergency, will I have to take my chances on a long drive to El Centro Regional Medical Center, or will there be a hospital in Calexico to treat me?

-If elected, how long do you plan on being an active member of the Calexico City Council? Will you complete your term before running for office at the next level?

-If elected, can we still call you "Gumby"?

How do we know we can trust you?

How do we know you're not the same as the rest of the people running?

Will you actually do anything for our community? If so, what?

Do you have any real ideas or real plans that you would like to do in our community? If so, what? Explain.

Will you be accesible to the community?

Who's your loyalty to? Small Business owners, Big Business owners, or the average citizen?

What have you done in the past? Explain.

Who do you think is hotter: Brad Pitt? or Jason Priestley? Explain.
