I finally bought myself a computer, It's pretty cool but here is a question for you computer savy calecianos.

You see i got an internet connection through SDSU which is pretty cool. It's free so i can't beat that. The thing is when i'm online sometimes the computer just shuts down and restarts itself. It's happened like four times and then an error report thing comes out but it doesn't say anything. Might any of you know what's going on?

In order to really help you out, you'll need to post a little more technical information about your new computer. There are just way too many questions to ask, so you'll need to provide as much relevant information regarding your PC. The more you provide, the quicker you'll get a resolution to your problem.

Here are a few questions to get your started:

What exact error message/code(s) are you getting?
What operating system and version (include patches and updates)?
What Web browser and version (include patches and updates)?
What modem and settings are you using?
What color is your computer?

OK. I'll charge you six Newcastles per hour. Normally I charge a twelve pack, but you seem like a nice fellow.

Shit, at least you're trying to fix the problems. Most members at Costco bring their shit back the first problem.
"Everything on the desk top looks tiny" fix your settings bitch

"DUh, I bought this Laptop and it's uppose to 1.8 prossesor but i only see 1.2" God man idiots. then take off the energy saver if you want to drain your battery quicker. Unless you are running graphics you need 1.8 al the time

"I'm suppose to have 80g hard drive I only see a 50g" Stupid ass you have to hard drives a 50 and 30 = 80.

See the finda of crap I have to put up with. And the number one responce to after I show them how to fix it is......................"Can I just have money back, I don't trust this one" Bang Head

If Costco is willing to take it back, why deal with the problem on your own? These are smart consumers taking advantage of Costco's return policy.

Where else can one take back any item that Costco carried (long ago) or currently carries without a receipt, even if it was purchased somewhere else?

Costco is great.
