keep in mind that the controller s is still kind of big, but it is slightly smaller and easier to hold. the buttons are a nice diamond shape, like the ps2 one, so it's easier when button mashing on those fighters. you nay want to find the old japanese controllers as well. i'm not sure if they're any smaller or not, but it's worth a shot.

you could find them here: ncsx

alright, the controller-s is a better choice and soon going to be the only choice available, but the larger original controller aka the "Duke" is alright for people with larger hands, or for when your playing a game where you need more stability, like racing games. .....okay, enough about the controllers, the ps2 and xbox are both good consoles depending on what you like. However, in one way the xbox shines above the ps2 is its online play, or XBOX LIVE. yeah i know what your saying, the ps2 has online playability, true, but LIVE has some strong points, annual subscription fee for ALL games unlike ps2 where you have to subscribe to each and every game. second, ethernet already installed, no need to buy one, third, hard drive allows you to download stuff such as new levels and characters for games, and finally the headphone set, this thing is cool, you get to taunt your enemy, or voice your strategies to friendlies like in Ghost Rechon, or cry out in agony when your huge mech is taken down in Mech Assault . of course you need dsl but since sbc yahoo is popping up in the valley that shouldnt be a problem

Xbox all the way. Yeah PS2 has more games, but there mostly already played and also Xbox is more powerful than the PS2 for sure. Also the controller is bigger for the Xbox and has better grip. And if it's too big for all you small people you could get the s-controller which is a lot smaller. Also Xbox may have less games but they do have better graphics. The games on the Xbox suck right now except for Halo, RTCW, Splinter Cell, and come 2004 there will be a lot more competition with Xbox and PS2. The most anticipaded games for PS2 are the MGS games and the GTA series, but from late 03' to 04' Xbox might crush the PS2 with games such as Halo 2, Counter Strike, Rainbow Six 3, Half Life 2, RTCW, Unreal 2: The Awakening, DOOM III, and Full Spectrum Warrior (which was first a training aid for the U.S. ARMY but T.H.Q. is going to put the simulator on the Xbix and only on the Xbox, so PS2 war gamers, too bad it's only for Xbox and P.C.). PS2 will have fierce competition next year so a shortened version of this is Xbox will DOMINATE!

Well in my humble opinion i have all three major game consoles ps2
x-box and gamecube and in every sense of the word ps2 kicks ass on everything. the only advantage the x-box allows you to save into the console but the controllers are like some huge ass tortas that you can barely hold on too.

do you have the original controller or the controller s? the latter is easier to hold onto, and the button lay-out isn't as fucked up. if you have the original one, try buying the controller s. you may be happier with that.
Hey, come on the original controller isn't that bad. It's just bigger for a better handle and grip. Not like the PS2 which was made small for the tiny Japs that whine too much if the controller is too big. That's why they made the s-controller. So anyways yeah you should get an s-cont.

Not quitting, retooling is the better word. They're not going to make any new XSN titles for this year cause they want to focus on making them better quality for next year.

But it really is no big deal, all the XSN sports titles can still be played online, online leagues feature still available, downloadable content still offered, and rosters will be updated.

the xsn titles aren't very good. in fact, they almost suck. that's only because 989 makes worse sports games. one of the problems EA had with XBOX was the fact that microsoft wouldn't let any of the other game companies to create an online league. this was done so their XSN titles would sell. it's microsoft trying to fuck with the gaming world like they did with the computer industry.

With the exception of Top Spin and Links 2004, I would have to agree that all XSN titles suck, but they're made directly from Microsoft Game Studios, not 989. The problem with Xbox and EA, is that EA is a large company, and wanted it's own seperate network outside of the already established Xbox Live, Xbox says no, EA screws Xbox users by not releasing games with online compatability, EA focuses on PS2 where it can do it's own thing, and Xbox retaliates with XSN

I think this comic will sum it up nicely for you.

yeah hey, but where does that leave us other sports gamers that can not have an online league with say segasports because xbox won't allow it?
