If you're anything like me, you've probably applied for credit cards and loans, and have been denied every time. For those of you with less than perfect credit (who are willing to accept interest rates up the ass), I recommend going to American General for personal loans, and Capital One for credit cards. If both places gave me credit, I'm sure that you'll have no problem getting accepted there yourself.
If Capital One denies you for some reason, you could try Providian. What I did with Providian was accept their secured Visa, and then whenever I made a payment on it, I'd pay more than the minimum, and then cancelled the card after one year. I then started getting offers from other companies, with lower interest rates.
I'd be glad to hear of any other lenders or credit card companies that you recommend. |
