The Spits are playing at The Garage in Los Angeles on November 23, 2002. I most likely won't be able to make the show, since I'll be out of the country on that day, but I beg who ever goes to bring me back a live recording!
The Spits are a great synth-punk band who relocated to Seattle from Portland from Michigan and have opened up for great bands such as The Briefs, The Epoxies and more. Their sound is similar to the Ramones, but with some synthesizers in the mix. Nothing totally creative, but their raw sound will kick your ass everytime you listen to it. |
