I know we have quite a few Michael Moore fans out there and thought they might be interested in this.

That is a great quote.

They booed the crap out of him at the Oscars when he said that, and he loved every second of it.

Fucking actors, you could totally tell they were on automatic, too: "He's saying something bad about the war and president. Must boo or risk being blacklisted. Boo. I wonder if I'll get invited to the White House? Boo." Fools.

Ah, but Roman Polanski wins an Oscar any everyone cheers and claps for the pedophile/rapist/fugitive. *

Regarding Bowling For Columbine. I'm very happy that it won an Oscar. As a gun owner and fan of Moore's works, it is clearly apparent to me that most people bashing the documentary haven't even seen it, otherwise, they'd know that the point isn't "guns are bad" (he himself is a gun owner and a member of the NRA), the message is simply the truth: "We Americans are just plain bad." [Quick, somebody throw in some Briefs lyrics.]

* I personally don't care if he's a pedophile or a rapist or a fugitive, which he is. But you know what? Fuck him, anyway.

Better to be a pedophile/rapist/fugitive, than "un-American".

This is what Bill O'Reilly had to say about Michael Moore's speech at the Oscars:

Bill O'Reilly wrote:
Speaking of people who hate us, this Michael Moore character has completely lost all credibility after his disgraceful appearance on the Academy Awards last night. Mr. Moore has always been over the top, but now I truly believe he despises this country. And if we could read his mind, although it would be a short story, I bet we'd see he's actually rooting against America. Maybe I'm wrong, but this guy is subversive and deserves all the scorn he got from the Hollywood crowd.

Fucking fool! What the hell is he talking about losing his “celebrity status”? If anything he has reaffirmed his vital role in this pathetic media of ours. Americans like to pretend they are fucking puritans and now I guess they wanna pretend they are patriotic. During fucking tax season! People like Michael Moore will always be ostracized. People who tell the truth always are, because they shatter the false ideals of plastic people. He actually got up there and told it like it was. The fucking pianist got choked up and hoped for a “peaceful resolution”, and he gets a standing ovation. A little too late for all the people who got bombed, and it stunk of fucking complacency. Americans don’t mind getting fucked in the ass by their false democracy as long as primetime TV keeps airing and giant burgers remain under a buck. Let’s just remain in a drunken haze and watch the show as this country collapses on itself and then go back to our respective countries or join the regime that takes over the American spoils.

We Americans
The Briefs

We Americans stupid
We Americans dirty
We Americans positive
But we don't know if we should be

We Americans cowboys
We Americans love guns
Ain't no one can stop us
Not even the injuns

So shoot the president
Forget the national debt
It makes no difference to me
It don't affect my rent, you see

And it has always been this way and it won't change
Hey hey
God bless the good ol' USA

We Americans can't write
We Americans don't read
And we don't want nobody
Telling us what we need

Cause we're better than that
And we're better than this
And we're better than everybody else
We got the dollars and we got the cents

And it has always been this way and it won't change
Hey hey
God bless the fucked up USA

You know you can't complain
We'll just wipe out the stains
We like to suck before we spit

We spray paint on the walls
Cause we love those shopping malls
All those purple track suits make me sick
That's it, we quit!

We Americans stupid
We Americans don't write
Ain't no one can stop us
Cause we do what we like

Moore's got a new movie coming out soon, by the way, titled "Fahrenheit 911."

United Press International wrote:
"It (the new project) certainly does deal with the Bush and bin Laden ties," said Moore. "It asks a number of questions that I don't have the answers to yet, but which I intend to find out."

Moore said he expects the new movie to be in U.S. theaters in time for the 2004 presidential election.
